Spritzer profile · bottled water vs tap
Spritzer is the familiar regional middle ground.
Spritzer Sparkling is sourced much closer to Singapore than the European bottles and pairs Malaysian mineral water with what the producer calls a crisp infusion of fine bubbles. HydroSpark+ on Slightly is the closer start, with Strongly available if you want more lift.

Spritzer bubble profile
Fine with a little lift
Spritzer describes a crisp infusion of fine bubbles. We place it in the middle of the editorial scale: gentler in character than the most aggressive profiles, but livelier than an ultra-light table sparkle.
Closest HydroSpark+ direction
Slightly
Start on Slightly for Spritzer's finer-bubble direction. Move to Strongly only if the bottle you normally drink feels more energetic to you—temperature and time since opening can shift that impression.
What makes Spritzer taste like Spritzer?
The Classic version is natural mineral water from Taiping with relatively modest published mineral levels and a notable silica content. It is cleaner and lighter than a highly mineralised European water, while retaining a source-water identity.
A fixed sparkling profile sold in 400 ml and 1 L bottles. It is a practical everyday reference rather than an exclusively restaurant-led water.
What HydroSpark+ can get close to
Start on Slightly for Spritzer's finer-bubble direction. Move to Strongly only if the bottle you normally drink feels more energetic to you—temperature and time since opening can shift that impression.
HydroSpark+ filters the incoming water through four-stage reverse osmosis, chills it, and carbonates it when you dispense. That makes the result fresh and consistent: the bubble setting is the variable, rather than the source water or the age of an opened bottle.
What HydroSpark+ does not copy
HydroSpark+ replaces Spritzer's Taiping mineral profile with four-stage RO-filtered local water. It can move toward the carbonation feel, but not the silica and mineral composition on the label.
Think of Slightly and Strongly as two carbonation directions—not brand presets. Water chemistry, temperature, glassware and how long a bottle has been open all affect the sensation of fizz.
Why move this profile from bottle to tap?
For a regular Spritzer Sparkling household, HydroSpark+ trades imported cartons from across the Causeway for a fresh glass made from the same appliance each time.
- Chilled sparkling water is made when you ask for it.
- You can change intensity between Slightly and Strongly.
- One appliance replaces the recurring bottle-storage routine.
- The same RO-filtered water supplies every glass, without pretending to reproduce a bottled source or formula.
The short answer
If your priority is the exact water profile of Spritzer, keep buying Spritzer. If your priority is a fine with a little lift glass with less bottle handling, HydroSpark+ on Slightly is the sensible place to start.
